Shepherding Tools on your phone
The app is in open testing on iPhone and Android. Open testing means anyone can install it. You no longer need an invitation from us, and there is no waiting list.
It carries the Tracker, Prayer and Discipleship work you already do on the web, on the phone in your pocket, and it keeps working when the signal does not.
You need an account before the app is any use
The app signs you in. It does not sign you up. If your church is not on Shepherding Tools yet, start on the website, then install the app and sign in with the same email and password.
iPhone and iPad
Apple hands out test builds through an app of its own called TestFlight. Install TestFlight from the App Store first. Then open the link below on the same device and tap Accept.

There are two ways in, and which one you want depends on what you are holding. On the phone itself, go straight to the Play Store listing. From a computer, use the second link to join the test first, then install from the Play Store on your phone afterwards.
What open testing means for you
It is a real build of a real product, and it is also a build we are still watching. You may hit a rough edge. When you do, we would rather hear about it than not, so write to [email protected] and say what you were doing and which phone you carry.
Your records are not a separate copy. The app reads and writes the same data as the website, so a contact you log on the train is on your desktop when you get home.
You can skip the app entirely
Nothing in Shepherding Tools requires it. Every screen works in a phone browser today, and your account is the same account either way. The app is for the people who want an icon on the home screen and pastoral work that survives a basement with no bars.
